The Hughson Unified School District is an exciting place for people who care about public education. Community members and educators are working together to build an outstanding school system. Hughson Christian School consists of grades Junior Kindergarten - 8th. The statement of purpose for Hughson Christian School is to teach young people to believe in themselves; to think, reason, plan, and act; to enrich and give purpose to their lives and to all of God's creation; to forever desire and speak for truth, and to know where are how to find it.
MJC is approximately 9 miles from Hughson. MJC provides vocational programs that lead to certification and instructional programs leading to transfers to four-year colleges.

While we’re well known for our Business Administration, Teacher Education, and Nursing programs, we have 41 undergraduate programs, 24 master’s programs, a doctor of education program, five graduate certificate programs, and a seven school credential programs. CSU is located only 6 miles from Hughson.
Known as one of the first new American research universities in the 21st century, with a mission of research, teaching and service. The campus opened September 5, 2005, in the Central Valley of California. The university is about ½ hour from Hughson.
